  • Rhododendron Bluff

    1997

    This was my last print in the New Hope Creek series. Rhododendron Bluff is a high rock outcropping above the creek in the Koristann Division of Duke Forest outside of Durham. Because it is north-facing, it is a natural environment for the mountain-loving rhododendron and mountain laurel. This eleven-color print shows the rock bluff from the level of the creek. It is a magnificently beautiful place that is open to the public.
